I’ve lived here for nearly 20 years and every time I needed an outfit for a single wedding or event, I either had to spend a ridiculous amount of money to buy one here permanently (and barely use it again) or try to import one from Algeria — which is always a hassle. My goal is to preserve our heritage while making it easy for you to rent an outfit for the evening. No overpriced commitment, no unnecessary stress searching for the perfect dress — just rent with me and your outfit will be ready for your special day.
• It’s scientifically proven that diasporas tend to lose a sense of heritage while living abroad. 41% of first-generation immigrants feel stressed and caught between two cultures, and 1 in 4 young immigrants have experienced an identity crisis. It’s already hard enough to maintain a sense of belonging — it shouldn’t also be expensive. I want us to be able to keep our identity and feel proud of who we are, regardless of where we live.
